Please read the rules carefully!

1. Roleplay Integrity:

a. Maintain a high level of roleplay integrity at all times. Stay in character and avoid metagaming or breaking character immersion. This includes not using information or knowledge that your character wouldn't have.

b. Use appropriate and realistic names for your character. Avoid names that are outlandish or break immersion, such as fictional character names or inappropriate names.

c. Respect other players' roleplay experiences and avoid disrupting their immersion. This includes not interrupting ongoing roleplay scenes unless invited to participate.

2. Respectful Conduct:

a. Treat all players with respect and courtesy. Do not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, or excessive trolling based on race, gender, religion, or any other personal characteristic.

b. Avoid excessive use of profanity or offensive language. Keep the server environment friendly and inclusive for players of all ages.

c. Do not engage in any form of cheating, hacking, or exploiting game mechanics. This includes not using third-party software or modifications that provide an unfair advantage.

3. Random Deathmatch (RDM):

a. Random Deathmatch, or RDM, is strictly prohibited. RDM refers to the act of killing or attacking another player without a valid in-character reason or proper roleplay context.

b. Engage in combat only within the context of realistic roleplay scenarios. Prioritize roleplay over combat and ensure there is a valid reason for initiating any hostile actions.

c. Avoid targeting players solely based on personal grudges or out-of-character disputes. Keep interactions fair, objective, and in line with the roleplay scenario.

4. New Life Rule (NLR):

a. The New Life Rule, or NLR, is an important aspect of roleplay. When you die, you must not return to the same situation or area for a specified period (5 minutes)

b. When you respawn, you should forget any information related to your previous life, including the identities of those involved in your death or events that occurred prior to your death.

c. Do not seek revenge or use the knowledge from your previous life to gain an unfair advantage. Play as if you are starting fresh with no memory of your previous character's experiences.

5. Police Roleplay Guidelines:

a. Follow the chain of command within the police department. Respect the hierarchy and take orders from higher-ranking officers.

b. Use realistic police procedures and protocols during roleplay scenarios. This includes proper communication, arrests, searches, traffic stops, and evidence handling.

c. Do not abuse your police powers. Use them responsibly and within the boundaries of the server rules. This includes not using excessive force, being fair in investigations, and treating all players equally.

6. Communication and OOC (Out of Character) Interaction:

a. Use appropriate voice chat or text chat for in-character communication. Use OOC tags or separate channels for out-of-character discussions.

b. Do not spam or excessively use voice chat or text chat, as it can disrupt the roleplay experience for others. Allow everyone to have a chance to speak and be heard.

c. Use clear and concise communication during roleplay scenarios to ensure smooth coordination with other players. Avoid talking over others or speaking out of turn.

8. Vehicle Usage:

a. Use vehicles realistically and responsibly. Obey traffic laws, signals, and speed limits while on patrol or during pursuits.

b. Do not use police vehicles for personal reasons or joyriding. Use them strictly for law enforcement purposes and emergencies.

c. Park vehicles in designated areas when not in use and avoid blocking roads or entrances with vehicles.

9. Use of Lethal Force:

a. Lethal force should be a last resort and used only when necessary. Exhaust all non-lethal options before resorting to lethal force.

b. Only use lethal force in response to an imminent threat to yourself or others. Do not use it in an excessive or indiscriminate manner.

c. Follow proper escalation of force protocols. Use proportional force based on the threat level presented by the suspect or situation.

10. Arrest Procedures:

a. Follow realistic arrest procedures when apprehending suspects. This includes properly identifying yourself as a police officer, stating the reason for the arrest, and reading the suspect their rights.

b. Roleplay the arrest process, including handcuffing, searching, and escorting the suspect to the appropriate location (such as a police station or holding area).

c. Respect the rights of the arrested individuals. Do not abuse or mistreat them while in custody.

11. Evidence Handling:

a. Handle evidence realistically and responsibly. Properly collect, document, and store evidence during investigations.

b. Follow chain of custody protocols to ensure the integrity of evidence. Maintain a clear record of evidence handling, including who collected it, where it was stored, and any transfers or changes in custody.

c. Do not tamper with or fabricate evidence. Present only legitimate and properly obtained evidence during roleplay scenarios.

12. Radio Etiquette:

a. Use realistic radio communication protocols and etiquette. Keep radio transmissions brief, clear, and professional.

b. Use proper radio codes and terminology when communicating sensitive or confidential information.

c. Avoid unnecessary radio chatter or crosstalk that can interfere with important communications.

13. Emergency Situations:

a. During emergency situations, prioritize the safety and well-being of civilians. Provide assistance and coordinate with other emergency services (e.g., EMS, fire department) to ensure an effective response.

b. Use emergency lights and sirens responsibly, following traffic laws and ensuring the safety of pedestrians and other drivers.

c. Maintain composure and professionalism during high-pressure situations to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

14. Reporting Rule Violations:

a. If you witness a rule violation, report it to the server administrators or moderators using the appropriate channels or methods provided.

b. Provide clear and detailed information about the violation, including the player's name, the situation, and any evidence (screenshots, videos, etc.) if available.

c. Avoid taking matters into your own hands. Let the server administrators handle rule enforcement to ensure fairness and impartiality.

These rules are meant to create an immersive and enjoyable police roleplay experience while maintaining a semi-serious atmosphere. Always remember to adhere to the server's specific rules and guidelines and respect the decisions made by the server administrators or moderators.
